Description

This building, located at 139 Abbey Foregate in Shrewsbury, is a house that is currently used for commercial purposes. It dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of brick with a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and an attic with dormer windows, featuring a three-window range. The central doorway is framed by a pedimented case with lugged architraves and a bolection moulded entablature. The windows are flush-framed 12-pane sash windows with flat-arched gauged brick heads. There is a modillion eaves cornice and gabled dormers in the roof, along with coped gables and gable end stacks. To the right, there is a single-storey lean-to extension that has a 16-pane sash window.
