Description

Caradoc House is an early 19th-century house, now used for commercial purposes. It is located on the south side of Abbey Foregate in Shrewsbury. The house is constructed of brick and has a Welsh slate roof. It has three storeys and a three-window front, with a prominent, pedimented bay in the centre. The central entrance features a six-panelled door with an overlight, set within a moulded architrave. The windows are 12-pane sashes with flat-arched, gauged brick heads. The first-floor windows are 9-pane sashes, while those on the second storey are 6-pane sashes. One first-floor window on the right-hand side has been blocked. The building has gable and axial stacks. A lower, hipped roof bay extends to the right, with a 9-pane sash window on the ground floor and a blind window above.
