Description

The enclosing walls to the south of The Hall are likely from the 18th century or early 19th century and are constructed of sandstone rubble. These walls extend in a long curve of about 100 yards from the gate piers to the east of The Hall, leading to the churchyard walls to the south and east of the Church of St Barnabas, before turning eastwards along the north side of the church and rejoining the churchyard walls to the east. The walls stand approximately four to five feet high and are topped by a prominent and attractive yew hedge. The gate piers are not included in this listing.
