Description

This drinking fountain, likely from the mid-19th century, is made of cast iron. It features a nearly three-foot high fluted column topped with a fluted hemispherical cap and a foliated finial. A lion mask is located on the front of the fountain. A cup, which is attached by a later chain to the finial, rests on a plunger positioned on the right-hand side. The fountain is included for its group value.
