Description
St Paul's Schoolhouse is a school building dating from around 1860. It is constructed of coursed dressed stone with ashlar detailing and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and a single window range, with a square light set in an ashlar case. The entrance is located on the left and consists of a plank door with a pointed head, which is set under a moulded pointed arch. To the right of the entrance, there are paired lancet windows with trefoil heads.
On the right side of the building, there is a paired lancet window under a pointed arch, leading to the gable. The advanced wing on the left also features a paired lancet window under a pointed arch, along with three-light mullion windows with trefoil heads on the ground floor. At the rear, there is a later wing that has a hipped Welsh slate roof and lancet windows.
