5/94 Cowshed and hay loft about 60 yards east- north-east of Church Farmhouse

GV II

Cowshed and hay loft. Probably C18. Sandstone rubble, timber-frame with brick infill, corrugated iron roof. Rectangular plan aligned roughly north/ south. West elevation has five columns supporting timber-framed wall, two panels high from cill to wall-plate in which there are two symmetrically placed loft openings near the centre. Gable walls are rubble. The building is situated close to the Church of St Weonard (qv).
