Description

The Benjamin Watkins memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 15 meters south of the nave of the Church of St Deinst. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The tomb features a moulded plinth and a slightly pyramidal moulded capping, with tapering sides and plain fielded inscription panels. It commemorates Benjamin Watkins, although the inscription is largely illegible.
