Description

The Eleanor Pyefinch monument is located approximately 5 meters southwest of the lychgate at the Church of St Mary in Kington. This monument, dating from around 1822, is made of ashlar sandstone. It features a plinth and a square tomb with a cornice and a coved capital. The monument commemorates Eleanor Pyefinch, a widow from Presteigne, who passed away in 1822.
