Description

STOKE PRIOR CP AND STOKE PRIOR SO 55 NW STOKE PRIOR (DET) CP 2/101 Barn and cowhouse about 50 yards west of The Bury Farmhouse and adjoins outbuildings and hop kilns GV II Barn and cowhouse. C18. Part sandstone rubble and part weatherboarded timber-frame on rubble base; the roof is machine-tiled. Large ten-bay range aligned north/south. Barn occupies six southernmost framed bays and has a wagon bay with opposed cart entries and double doors in the sixth bay from the south end. Main east entrance has two ground floor square openings, a loft door and a double doorway (in addition to that in wagon bay). Stable occupies four nothernmost bays. Two levels. Main east elevation has two square windows on both levels in each bay and there are two large double doorways. Interior not inspected.
