Description
The churchyard cross and sundial, located about 10 yards south of the easternmost window on the south side of the nave of the Church of St Dubricius, is likely from the 14th century and was restored in the late 19th or early 20th century. It is made of sandstone rubble and dressed sandstone. The structure features three square steps leading up to a truncated octagonal shaft with a moulded top. At the top, there is an 18th-century copper sundial inscribed with "N Witham, LONDINI, Fecit."
