Description

This is a dovecote located approximately 50 metres south of Bollitree Castle Farmhouse, likely built around 1700 and restored in the 20th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble, with the upper storey rendered and a hipped stone slate roof. The dovecote has a square plan and two storeys. The north wall features a window on the ground floor and a louvred opening on the upper storey. There is a doorway in the west wall, and a glazed lantern with a domed ogee lead cap.
