Description

Victoria Bridge is a footbridge over the River Wye, built around 1897 by Findlay of Motherwell. The bridge features concrete piers with ashlar cutwaters, a semi-suspension central span, and lattice-work towers and parapets. It also has terracotta piers with cast-iron lamp columns. The bridge was constructed through public subscription to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria.
