Description

This property comprises numbers 18 to 22 New Street, dating from the 18th century. Numbers 18 and 20 are constructed of brick, while number 22 is painted. The building has a slate roof with gable ends and extends to three storeys with attics. It features three windows. Two are old casement windows, and number 22 has a sash window with nine panes of glass. Small Victorian shop windows with pilasters and fascias are present at numbers 18 and 22, while number 20 has a more modern shopfront with fluted pilasters and a doorway. There are two flush-panelled doors, each with a cambered head. A later gabled dormer window is also visible.

The property forms a group with numbers 12 (Old Talbot Inn, Vine House), numbers 18 to 24 (even), a barn at the rear of number 24, number 26 (Glenmoir), Linden House and Alviston House.
