Description
This is an enriched headstone located approximately 20 meters southeast of the organ chamber of the Church of St Giles. It dates from the mid to late 18th century and is made of sandstone. The headstone features a shaped design with a winged cherub, a scrolled surround, and a cartouche that contains a convex inscription panel, although the inscription is defaced. This headstone is a fine example of local craftsmanship and contributes to the overall setting of the church.
