No. 18 Church Street is a shop and dwelling, now functioning solely as a shop, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The building is constructed of brick with a slate roof and features a brick ridge stack. It stands three storeys tall with a cellar and has a two-window range, showcasing 8/8 sash windows with old glass set beneath gauged brick flat arches, and 4/8 sashes above. The parapet is topped with concrete coping. The shop front, dating from the 19th century, includes a central two-leaf part-glazed door and a 20th-century casement overlight to the right, along with a moulded fascia board and hood above.
Inside, there is a winder staircase with stick balusters leading to the attic. On the second floor, there is a 19th-century plank door and a 19th-century fireplace. The first floor features four-panel doors, exposed timber-framing, a 19th-century fireplace, and an 18th-century overlight. The ground floor displays an exposed ceiling frame, while the cellar is partly stone-lined and contains a late 18th-century arched stack base.
