Description
This is an early to mid-19th century building on New Street. It is constructed of red brick with a low-pitched slate roof, featuring gable ends and brick dentil eaves. The building is three storeys high and has two sashed windows per floor, with glazing bars and painted stone lintels. A central doorway has a segmental brick head, a flat hood supported by brackets, and a panelled and glazed door. The building is included on the list for its group value alongside numbers 51 to 57 on the north side of New Street, along with number 57, which is of local interest.
