Description

Le Play House is a 16th century building that has been modernised with several additions, including an 18th century block that runs at right angles to the road. The structure has two storeys. The older wing, which faces south, features two pairs of medieval cruck trusses that are now covered but still maintain their original shape. The 18th century section is constructed of red brick and has a hipped slate roof. It includes four sash windows with flat arches, keyblocks, and glazing bars, as well as a large modern brick porch.
