Description

These are houses, now combined into a single dwelling, dating to the 15th, 16th, and 18th centuries. The building is timber-framed and brick, with a stucco finish. It has a plain-tile gable roof, with graduated stone tiles on the right-hand side, and a brick lateral stack with a 20th-century addition. The two-storey, two-window front features a 20th-century window in the gable, and a 19th-century window with a casement to the right. A central 20th-century half-glazed door is flanked to the left by a 19th-century window with casement, and to the right by an early 20th-century casement. A moulded bressumer rests on chamfered brackets. The right returned side displays 18th-century timber framing and brickwork, incorporating a plank door and a 19th-century 3/3 sash window in a moulded case. The rear of the building is constructed of rubble and reveals massive jowled posts.
