Description

Number 11, including the timber-framed wing to the rear, is a shop and dwelling that dates back to the 18th century, although it has an earlier core. The building features a stucco exterior and a hipped Welsh slate gable roof, with a composite brick lateral stack. It stands three storeys high and has a cellar, with a two-window range that includes late 19th-century plain sashes set in earlier moulded cases, and additional 19th-century plain sashes above. The eaves have a boarded soffit. The shop front, which is from the 20th century, has an entrance on the left side.

At the rear, there is a hipped gable and another gable that showcases 19th-century timber framing. A large wing extends to the rear, featuring 17th-century and later timber framing with brick infill, and passing braces on the second floor. The right returned side has various early 19th-century lights and casements, and there is a 20th-century flat felt roof.

Inside, the building has an 18th-century staircase. On the third floor, there is a cast-iron firegrate, two fireplaces, and an 18th-century door with left hinges. The first floor features a coved plaster ceiling adorned with a cherub motif and a late 19th-century fireplace.
