Description

Nos. 12 and 13 High Town are shops and dwellings that date back to the 18th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a Welsh slate roof with a composite brick end stack on the left side. It stands three storeys tall and has a five-window range, with late 19th-century plain sashes set beneath gauged brick flat arches. Above, there are 3/3 sashes and a stone-coped parapet. The front of the building has two 20th-century shop fronts. At the rear, there are two 19th-century 6/6 sashes in moulded cases, along with a 20th-century casement. Above these, there are three 3/3 sashes and a margin-glazed light, all set under segmental arches. Inside No. 13, there is a 19th-century winder staircase with stick balusters and reused panelling.
