Description
This is an outbuilding located approximately 30 metres north-east of Dippersmoor Manor. It dates from the 17th century or early 18th century and has undergone later alterations and a restoration in the 20th century. The structure is timber-framed with brick infill, a sandstone rubble plinth, and refacing on the gable ends, topped with a 20th-century tiled roof. It consists of four framed bays that are aligned east to west, featuring an entrance on the east gable end and two doorways on the north side. The design includes two square panels from the sill to the wall-plate, with three struts supporting the collar and V-struts in the west gable end. This building is included for its group value with the nearby manor.
