Description
The Woodhouse monument, located about 35 yards south of the chancel of the Church of St Mary Magdalene, is a pedestal tomb dedicated to John Woodhouse, who died in 1808. It is made of sandstone ashlar and features a square base with moulded capping that supports a reversed battered upper portion resting on four moulded feet. The upper section is topped with a moulded pyramidical capping and has side panels with quadrant corners along the margins.
