Description
The cider house and granary, now used as a store, is located about 25 yards east of The White House. It is probably from the 18th century and features a timber-framed structure with brick infill, rubble tallet stairs, weatherboarded gables, and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays arranged roughly east to west. There are two loft openings on the south elevation, a tallet stairs on the west gable, and ledged doors on the north side. Inside, there is a cider press in the west bay, and the building has pegged king post trusses, with the center truss resting on a heavily cambered tie-beam. This structure is included for its group value.
