Description
Two adjoining barns, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, are located on the north side of the road, approximately 200 meters north-west of the Church of St Michael. The barns are timber-framed with a sandstone plinth, featuring some 20th-century brick infill and weatherboard cladding. The roofs are partly covered with pantiles and partly with corrugated metal. One barn is a four-bay structure aligned east to west, while the second barn, also a four-bay structure, is aligned north to south and adjoins the first at the west end. There are openings at the east gable end. The framing consists of four square panels from the sill to the wall-plate. The interior was inaccessible as of autumn 1985.
