Description

This is a barn located approximately 20 meters north-east of Langstone Court. It dates from the 18th century and was altered in the mid to late 19th century. The barn is constructed from sandstone rubble and has a slate roof. It has a rectangular plan that is aligned north-east to south-west and consists of seven bays with a central threshing floor. There are two rows of loop vents, and a doorway was inserted in the 20th century at the south-west gable end, which features a rounded corner. The barn has king post trusses and is included for its group value.
