Description

These pig-sties, located about 70 yards north of Barton Court, were built in the third quarter of the 19th century. They feature a brick front with a rubble construction and a tiled roof. The building is low and consists of two cells, characterized by a dentilled eaves course. It has paired arched doorways and outer arched windows that are fitted with metal bars. A chimney is situated at the west gable, which was used for boiling meal. This structure is part of a complex of farm buildings associated with Barton Court.
