Description
This is a headstone made of sandstone, dating from the late 18th century, located approximately 2 meters southeast of the south porch of the Church of St Giles in Goodrich. It features a shaped headstone design with a central winged cherub, flanked by a vine motif and a cartouche, which contains a convex inscription panel. The inscription reads: "Here lieth the Body of/ Ann Weaver/ who died the ..... May 1779/ Aged 69". This headstone is a fine example of local craftsmanship and enhances the overall setting of the church.
