Description
This house, located approximately 5 meters south of the Church of St Peter, likely has a core dating back to the 17th century and was remodeled in the 18th century. It is built from sandstone rubble and features a roof made of stone slate and Welsh slate. The building has a rectangular plan that probably includes a through-passage, with a south gable-end stack that likely contains an integral stone winder staircase, and a lateral stack on the west front.
The house is a single storey with an attic. On the west front, there are two dormers with 2-light casements to the right of the stack, and a segmental-headed window with a 2-light casement to the right of the doorway. The doorway is sheltered by a plain canopy and has a ledged door. The south gable end shows traces of single lights, which likely illuminate the staircase. Inside, there are remnants of a square panelled timber-framed internal partition and a heavy beam in the room to the right of the entrance on the east front.
