Description

Oak Cottage is a house likely dating from the 17th century, with alterations in the 20th century. It is timber-framed and largely refaced with painted brick and roughcast, covered by a tiled roof. The house has three bays aligned north-south, with its north gable facing the street. The entrance is on the left side, and a lateral chimney stack is on the right. It has two storeys, featuring four 20th-century glazing bar casement windows; one window is positioned to the left, while a similar grouped pair sits centrally, and a three-light window is located to the right of a part-glazed door.
