Description
95A Bridge Street is a house dating from the mid-19th century, with a core that dates back to the 16th or 17th century. It is constructed of whitewashed brick and features a Welsh slate roof, with a brick stack at the left end and a stone and brick lateral stack at the rear. The house has a through-passage plan and stands two storeys tall, displaying a two-window range of 2-light wood mullion and transom windows under brick lintels. On the ground floor, there are similar 2-light and 3-light windows on either side of a part-glazed door located to the centre left. The rear includes a lean-to and casement windows, with a fragment of timber-framing visible. The stonework of the lateral stack partially extends into No.97, and it has a coping above eaves level with a brick flue. Inside, the room to the right features a massive spine beam and a corner chimney breast. The roof is not visible but is said to continue from that of No.97.
