Description

This barn, located approximately 110 yards east-north-east of Wellington Court, likely dates from the 18th century. It features a timber frame that is partly weatherboarded and retains some woven panels, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The structure consists of five bays aligned east to west, with central full-height entries leading to the threshing floor. Inside, there are triple angle-struts supporting the trusses. This barn is part of a larger 18th-century range that includes an adjacent barn, cow house, and granary, which together form a total of eighteen bays when arranged end to end.
