Description
15 and 17 The Priory are houses dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. They feature a timber-frame construction with roughcast and a Welsh slate roof, along with a central brick axial ridge stack. The buildings are two storeys high and have a four-window range. The 18th-century windows include six-over-six casements, while to the right there are two 20th-century plain casements set in box framing.
For No. 15, there is a plank door in a beaded case to the right, along with two 18th-century six-over-six casements. No. 17 has a central plank door in a beaded case and two 20th-century metal casements, with a prentice-board above. The left side of the building is finished in painted brick, while the right side is roughcast. There is a 19th-century parallel range at the rear, which includes a central stack. The interiors have not been inspected.
