Description

The dovecote and adjoining barn are located to the south-east of Wormbridge Court and date from the 18th century. The square brick dovecote features a stone slate roof, a simple lead cupola, and a dentilled eaves cornice. The interior no longer has nesting boxes. The entrance to the dovecote is through the barn, which has a corrugated sheet metal roof and consists of six bays with inclined strut trusses. This structure is included for its group value with Wormbridge Court.
