Description
The Edwards monument is a chest tomb located approximately 1 metre south of the organ chamber of the Church of St Giles in Goodrich. It dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and is constructed from ashlar stone. The monument features a moulded plinth and raised capping, with gadrooned corner balusters that flank a rectangular inscription panel containing an oval inset. It commemorates Samuel Edwards, who died in 1795.
