Description

This is an 18th-century house located in Palace Yard, Hereford. It is a three-storey building with a five-window facade. The windows are early 19th-century 9/6 sashes in broad, beaded cases, with later 3/6 sashes placed above. The entrance is on the right-hand side with an 18th-century six-panel door recessed within panelled surrounds, topped by a Gothic-glazed overlight. A 20th-century flat hood and consoles are above the door, alongside a restored 6/6 sash window. To the left of the entrance is a two-part window with 2/2 and 6/6 sashes, as well as a plank door and fanlight set within a semicircular arch. A storeyband runs across the facade. The building is included on the list for its group value.
