Description

This is an 18th-century house with a 19th-century facade, located on the north side of New Street. It is a three-story building, with a basement, constructed of stock brick, and the ground floor is painted. The front features two 19th-century sash windows with vertical glazing and a vermiculated keystone above. A three-light bay window is present on the first floor. A doorcase on the right side has an open pediment above a semi-circular fanlight, pilasters, panelled reveals, and a six-panelled door, the top four panels cut away and glazed. The building forms a group with numbers 2, 3, 6, and 6A on New Street.
