Description

The Ship Inn is a late 18th century to early 19th century building located on Middle Street. It is three storeys tall with a basement, constructed of brown brick featuring red brick dressings. The building has a parapet with stone coping and five sash windows that retain their glazing bars. The central entrance has a doorcase with an open pediment, a blocked semi-circular fanlight, pilasters, and panelled reveals. The Ship Inn is part of a group that includes Nos 139 to 155 (odd).
