Description

This is a mid-19th century building located on the south side of New Street. It is a three-story structure with a basement, constructed from red brick and featuring a parapet with a wooden flat eaves cornice. The front elevation has three sash windows with vertical dividers only. The first floor features two three-light bays. A good 18th-century doorcase is present, with a pediment, console brackets, and a frieze decorated with urns and tryglyphs. The entrance has a six-panelled door, with the top two panels cut away and glazed. A one-story extension is visible at one end, built with stock brick.
