Description

This is a headstone dating from the late 18th century, located approximately 10 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St Deinst in Llangarron. Made of sandstone, it features a winged cherub's head with a scrolled cartouche and a convex inscription panel. The headstone commemorates Hannah, the wife of John Smith, who died in 1779. It is a fine example of local craftsmanship and significantly enhances the overall setting of the church.
