6/2 Warren Farmhouse and farm building adjoining to north-west in same 18.5.53 range

House. Probably C16 with later alterations. Pebbledashed timber-framing and rubble with tile roof. Two storeys. North-east wall of two bays to left of projecting chimney stack and one to right, with casement windows, mostly C20. Left-hand bay has single-storey bay window. Chimney on left- hand gable, with projecting stack. Adjoining to the right is a farm build- ing of exposed sandstone rubble with a lower slate roof. It has a doorway to each side of a central flight of stone steps which lead to a first floor doorway. Interior: not accessible at time of survey (April 1986). Said to contain some chamfered ceiling beams, and queen-post roof trusses (RCHM, P 6).
