Description
No. 20 St Owen Street is a former house, now used as a shop and offices, dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of brick with a plain tile roof and features a brick end stack. It has a lobby entry and a double-depth plan, standing three storeys tall with a cellar. The façade includes a two-window range with plain sashes set under gauged brick flat arches, and 6/6 sashes above. There are 20th-century shop windows and a 20th-century five-panel door to the right, along with a 20th-century fascia-board and hood above.
Inside, there is a staircase with stick balusters leading to the second floor. On the second floor, there are two two-panel doors with H-hinges and a panelled door. The first floor features a corner cupboard in what is likely the corner stack. The cellar is partly stone-lined.
