Description
Knapp Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse that likely incorporates elements from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th and mid-20th centuries. It is probably timber-framed and clad in brick, topped with a tile roof. The main range is oriented northwest to southeast and features an external stack on the north gable, along with two lateral stacks on the southwest wall. The southwest front has two storeys and includes a band at the ground floor level. There are five windows, each consisting of a 2-light casement. The ground floor has four timber cross-windows and a 3-light casement to the right. The right-hand (south) gable features a 16-pane boxed sash window above a glazing bar sash. The entrance is located on the opposite front. The interior has not been inspected, but it is reported to contain a 17th-century timber frame.
