Description

This group of adjoining barns, located approximately 30 meters south-west of Court House Farmhouse, dates back to the 17th century. The barns feature square panelled timber-framing with painted brick infill and weatherboard cladding, topped with Welsh slate roofs. The structure is arranged in an L-shape, consisting of a five-bay range aligned north/south and a four-bay range adjoining to the north, aligned east/west. The four-bay range includes a central threshing floor with a gable over the entrance, and it showcases moulded brackets at the wall-plate and swept V-struts in the gable. Inside, the barns have inclined strut trusses.
