Description
This barn, located adjacent to the north-west corner of Tresseck, is likely from the 17th century but has some alterations from the 20th century. It features a sandstone rubble plinth and a timber frame with woven and plank infill, along with breeze blocks and a tiled roof. The barn has four bays that run roughly north to south and is two levels high. The west elevation includes two-leaved doors on the right side and a loft door above, while the left bay has a full-height entry to the farmyard without a door. The south gable displays scissor braces above the collar, and the north gable is made of breeze block. On the east elevation, there are tallet stairs leading to the upper level at the south end. The frame is square panelled, with three panels high from the cill to the wall-plate. This barn is included for its group value.
