Description

The Harris monument, located about 20 yards east-north-east of the Church of St Mary, is a chest tomb dedicated to Ann Harris, who died in 1838. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a moulded capping with a smaller capping placed on top. The corners of the tomb are balustered and adorned with wreath motifs on the south side, while the north side displays pelmets. The monument also includes incised rectangular inscription panels.
