Description
This outbuilding, located about 5 metres north of Fenmore, is possibly a former stable that has been converted into a workshop and store room. It dates back to the 17th century, with some alterations made in the mid-19th century. The structure features a timber frame with rendered and painted brick infill, topped by an artificial graduated stone tile roof. It consists of two framed bays that are aligned in a north-east to south-west direction.
The south-east front has two storeys, with two fixed casement windows, a loft door, and a shuttered opening. On the ground floor, there is a double door to the left and a ledged and boarded door in the right-hand corner, with a fixed casement window situated between them. The framing consists of four square panels high, supported by straight angle braces at the gable end, and the truss above is covered with weatherboarding.
