Description
This barn, located adjacent to Little Quebb Farmhouse to the north-east, is likely from the 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding set on a rubble base, topped with stone-tiled roofs arranged in diminishing courses. The barn features four framed bays that run in a north-west to south-east direction. There is a wagon bay with opposed cart entries and double doors, which is situated in the second bay from the south-east end, along with a gabled midstrey on the south-west side. Attic lights are present in the gable ends. Inside, the wall framing consists of three panels from the sill to the wall plate. The interior also includes intermediate arch-braced tie-beam trusses with raking struts and two tiers of trenched purlins.
