Description
This is a milepost located about 20 yards east of the Baptist Chapel in Garway. It was likely made in the mid-19th century and is constructed from cast iron. The milepost features an angled top and sides that rise from a curved, angled base. It has raised lettering that reads: "GARWAY PARISH TO PONTRILAS MONMOUTH 6 8 MILES MILES."
