Description

The Elliott Monument, located about 20 yards south-west of the south-west corner of the Church of St Bartholomew, is a pedestal tomb dedicated to George Elliott, who died in 1821. It is made of finely cut sandstone and features a hipped capping, a chamfered base, a fluted frieze adorned with corner rosettes, and chamfered fluted corners.
