Description
No. 17 Bridge Street is a building that originally served as a house and shop, now functioning solely as a shop. It features an early 19th-century front that may conceal a core from the 17th century. The exterior is made of painted brick and has a parapet at the roof with a brick ridge stack. The building stands three storeys tall and has a single window range. The main window is tripartite, consisting of 2/2, 6/6, and 2/2 sash windows beneath a stucco lintel, with a similar smaller window above. The stone-coped parapet adds to its architectural character.
